Invite people and manage team access
Add teammates, choose appropriate roles, resend account setup, and remove workspace access.
Before you start
Open the correct workspace and make sure you can manage its team. Use a larger screen if requested. Ordinary workspace admins manage Team; special inherited staff access is managed separately in the internal workspace. Check the user allowance in Billing before adding people.
Add or invite someone
- Open Team and select Add or invite user.
- Enter the person's email and choose a role: Admin manages billing, setup, and users; Member keeps prompt and automation access; Agent manages conversations.
- Select Add or invite and read the result. People who already sign in receive access immediately. New or unfinished accounts receive an email to set a password.
- Ask a new user to open the email, choose Continue, set and confirm a password, then select Set password and continue. They can choose the workspace afterward.
- If setup email is missing, check spam and the address. Enter an unfinished account's email again in the invitation dialog to resend setup without changing its existing role or reserving another seat. An invalid or expired invitation also offers password recovery.
Change or remove access
Use the person's role selector in Team to change their role and wait for the result. To remove someone, choose Remove, read the confirmation, and confirm. They lose this workspace's access; their personal account remains and can be added again. You cannot change your own role, remove yourself, or leave the workspace without an admin. Inherited staff access must be changed in the internal workspace.
Check the result
Confirm the person and role in Team, then have them select the workspace. If the user limit is reached, an admin must review the plan or remove unneeded membership. If a person is already a member, manage the existing entry rather than inviting a duplicate. Do not share your own sign-in to bypass a missing invitation.
