Understand Metrics and export a report

Choose the right period and scope, interpret estimates, and distinguish activity from credit usage.

Build a comparable view

Metrics reports customer and conversation activity, AI and human replies, engagement, and response speed. Usage reports credit consumption. A message count is not a credit balance: generation, media, tools, and other metered actions can have different costs.

  1. Open Metrics in the intended workspace. Select a Manychat account and automation, or leave both at all. Check any prompt filter carried into the page.
  2. Set start and end dates and the report timezone, then apply filters. You can use Today, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, or Last 90 days. The allowed date range is up to 366 days.
  3. Read the scope and period displayed above the report. The workspace timezone is the starting default; changing the report timezone changes how activity is grouped by dates and hours. Use the same timezone and filters for comparisons.
  4. Open Operational details, chart data tables, and How these metrics are calculated for definitions. Distinguish received messages, generated AI replies, and human agent responses. The dashboard refreshes every five minutes; use Refresh for an updated view.

Interpret estimates carefully

The capacity estimate describes estimated active work, not customer waiting time or a guaranteed saving. Adjust Estimated minutes of work per AI reply to reflect your team's typical reading, thinking, and writing time. AI response speed is affected by the model, media, tools, flow delays, and provider availability; it is not a delivery guarantee.

Export and troubleshoot

Choose Executive report or Detailed report, then Export report to PDF. Confirm the period, scope, timezone, and capacity assumption before sharing. If there is no activity, widen the dates or choose another account/automation. For invalid dates, use a valid timezone and a range of no more than 366 days. Refresh after a loading error; if PDF generation fails, try again. Use Usage for a credit question and message details in Chats for one specific failed reply.
