Resolve payment and activation problems
Distinguish pending activation from failed payment and restore service through the correct billing flow.
Before you start
Confirm the workspace and open Billing. Ask an admin to perform payment changes if you do not have billing permission. Note the exact status and any deadline shown; a credit-limit problem and an OpenAI billing error are separate from a SiloBox subscription payment.
Follow the displayed status
- Payment received — activation pending: allow subscription confirmation to finish and check Billing again. SiloBox updates the plan automatically after activation. Do not start another payment just to force activation.
- Payment failed: read the service-continuation deadline shown in the banner. An admin can select Update payment when available, open the billing portal, and follow its instructions to resolve the payment.
- Payment unresolved — service paused: update the payment method and resolve the outstanding invoice through the billing flow. The banner states that workspace data is safe; payment resolution is needed to resume service.
- Return to Billing and confirm the status has recovered before testing an automation again. If no payment action is available, have the admin use Manage billing or contact support with the displayed error.
If it still does not work
A changed card alone is not proof that an outstanding payment was settled. Check the portal's actual payment result and SiloBox status. Do not assume a fixed grace period: use the deadline displayed for your workspace. If checkout was interrupted, return to Billing and follow the current action rather than repeatedly submitting payments.
For support, record the workspace name, status, approximate payment time, and non-sensitive error text. Do not send card numbers or API keys. If Billing is healthy but replies fail, check credits and the selected OpenAI project's billing separately.
