Connect and check your Manychat account
Open Manychat Accounts or the Manychat step in Guided setup, save the correct account token, then run Check integration. Test real delivery after connecting the flows.
Before you start
Have the API token for the Manychat account you want to use and permission to manage connections in your SiloBox workspace. If you manage several customer accounts, confirm which one receives the messages for this automation before copying its token. Open Settings → API in Manychat to obtain the token. API access is available on certain paid plans; see the official token instructions.
There are two different credentials involved. The Manychat token lets SiloBox work with your Manychat account. Connecting also creates or updates the SILOBOX_API text bot field with a managed SiloBox key for requests coming the other way. People who can view bot fields in Manychat can see that managed key. Keep both credentials out of customer messages and support screenshots.
Connect the account
- Open the Manychat step in Guided setup, or open Manychat Accounts. Check that you are in the intended workspace.
- Choose Connect an account if the form is not already visible. Paste the token into Manychat API token, then submit the connection form.
- Review the account name and identity returned by SiloBox. It discovers the account and available fields automatically; do not choose an account only because its display name looks familiar.
- Select the account in guided setup. Use Check integration to inspect the saved credential and integration field. Read any readiness details or errors shown for that account.
- Once the correct account is ready, continue to the OpenAI step. Reuse this saved account when you create the automation.
Manage the account outside guided setup
Open Manychat Accounts from the workspace navigation. An authorized manager can connect and maintain accounts here without restarting guided setup; other members can see the saved accounts and ask an admin to manage them. Use a screen at least 1024 pixels wide if the page asks you to continue on a larger screen.
Choose the intended account and compare its account identity with the one used by your automation. Edit account or replace Manychat API key changes that saved connection. Paste a token for the intended Manychat account, save, and run Check integration again. Refresh fields updates available field information; it is different from replacing a token or repairing the managed integration. Return to setup using its return link when present, and confirm that the intended account remains selected in the automation.
If you administer multiple clients, do not substitute another client's token to clear an error. First establish which account the automation should use, then repair that account's connection. After any change, run a real channel test and inspect delivery diagnostics as well as connection readiness.
Check the result
The account should appear in your workspace and be selectable in setup. The integration check should no longer report a problem requiring repair. This is a connection check, not a delivery test: stored statuses do not prove that current messages can be delivered. Complete the flow setup and send a real test message later.
If you get stuck
If the API token changed, open Edit account or replace Manychat API key and save the replacement. If custom fields are missing, use Refresh fields. If the integration needs repair, read the confirmation before choosing Repair integration setup: it may replace the managed SiloBox key and revoke older keys. Other copies of revoked keys stop working. Do not rotate a key merely to refresh field names. If management buttons are absent, ask a workspace admin to perform the connection.
