Review website knowledge (Beta)
Discover public pages, approve facts, and use a fixed knowledge version in AI Studio.
Availability and preparation
Website knowledge is a Beta available only to enabled workspaces and users with permission to edit prompt drafts. If the option is missing, contact your administrator or support. It is not a guarantee that every website or its entire catalog can be read.
- Open website discovery from Prompts and enter a public HTTPS website address. Only public pages are supported. You can run one scan at a time, up to five per day. Discovery uses no AI credits and continues in the background; return through recent scans or cancel an active scan.
- Review business pages, categories, products, and coverage warnings. Blocked pages, crawler restrictions, JavaScript-only content, unavailable pages, or scan limits can leave gaps. Even verified listing coverage does not mean product facts are approved.
- In Review business knowledge, select suitable pages and extract candidate facts. Review the extraction information shown before starting; discovery and AI extraction are separate steps.
- Read each fact and its source evidence. Correct inaccurate wording, confirm eligible facts explicitly, exclude unsuitable facts, and resolve conflicts. Owner corrections are recorded separately from website evidence. Product prices, promotions, and availability are observations only and cannot enter approved knowledge.
- Choose Save approved knowledge after confirming at least one eligible fact and resolving conflicts. Unknown information remains unknown; do not fill gaps with guesses.
Use it in AI Studio
Choose an approved website version in the optional website knowledge selector when creating an AI Studio draft. Check the business, version, facts, and sources. You can also use only your own answers.
The draft keeps that approved version. Website changes are not added automatically, and choosing another version requires a new draft. Review and test the resulting prompt, then explicitly publish it through the prompt publishing workflow. Scanning, extracting, confirming facts, and saving approved knowledge do not update your live assistant.
If creation fails
Refresh the review if the selected version is unavailable. For incomplete, conflicting, or unverifiable knowledge, review and approve a corrected version. For an oversized selection, approve fewer relevant facts. For discovery or extraction limits, follow the displayed retry guidance instead of repeatedly starting the same request.
